The date was July 7, 2010 and was a perfectly normal evening in Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport 杭州萧山机场, people were checking in their baggage, boarding flights and looking forward to reaching their destinations.
Then at around 8pm
the air traffic control officers repeatedly received several reports from the crew members and pilots that multiple unidentified luminous objects were found hovering near in the skies near the runway,.
At least 8 pilots and their crew witnessed these luminous objects darting around the sky. However, nothing was displayed on the radar systems . Confused air traffic control officers after considering the safety of the fights and the passengers, decided to close the airport, which resulted in a large number of passengers stranded at the airport, and multiple planes diverted to other cities.
